DESCRIPTION
One-Bedroom on the 14th Floor with Hudson River Views and Private Balcony Greenwich Street, Tribeca

This renovated one-bedroom on the 14th floor of Greenwich Street in Tribeca has a private balcony and a bedroom facing the Hudson River. The bedroom window looks west across the water to the Jersey City waterfront; the living area faces north over Tribeca's rooftops toward the Midtown skyline.

The open kitchen is the center of the apartment. White shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a marble mosaic backsplash pair with full stainless steel appliances a gas range, French-door refrigerator, built-in microwave, and dishwasher. A peninsula with counter seating separates the kitchen from the living area without closing it off, and under-cabinet and recessed lighting keep the whole space bright.

Light oak hardwood floors run throughout. The renovated bathroom has floor-to-ceiling tile, a deep soaking tub with shower, chrome fixtures, and a built-in medicine cabinet. A stacked GE washer and dryer sits in its own closet off the hallway, and sliding glass doors off the living room open onto the private balcony.

Greenwich Street is a pet-friendly, full-service Tribeca building with a 24-hour doorman, on-site security, a renovated lobby, a fitness center, and a children's playroom.

The location is central Tribeca. Duane Park is three blocks away, with cobblestone streets, cast-iron facades, and the neighborhood's restaurants and shops just outside. The 1 train at Franklin Street is a four-minute walk, the A/C/E at Canal Street is about eight, and the Hudson River Park greenway is two blocks west. The Hudson River Park greenway two blocks west is a natural dog-walking route.

Fun Facts and History of Tribeca

The church would own the area for over 100 years, building separate churches and living spaces for the growing population. These homes would later be recognized as one of NYC's first residential neighborhoods beyond the original colonial boundaries.

By the 1840's, several piers had been built in the area, which encouraged trading ships to land there rather than navigate the more difficult East River. This made industry in the area explode, making it a hub for produce and textile creation. The industry of the area only grew after the construction of the subway and…
