Pros:
Location is INCREDIBLE! 11th St and 1st Ave, a few blocks from Trader Joe's, Target, Whole foods, and the L train, but on a quiet block, no bars, two community gardens, one next door, but lots of nightlife and boutiques close by
Private entrance - very private away from all of the other apartments
Private Garden and Patio including furniture
Spacious living room and bedroom
South facing - even though basement level gets nice natural light with direct sun in that direction.
Full bathroom with bathtub
Full kitchen
New wood floors just installed
Nit shown in phtos but bathroom and kitchen floors will be lighter
Optional renovations available (sliding door between bedroom and living toom and counyer in bathroom can be altered
While very private, there is also a very nice community in the building of 21 units - we mind our business but are also there to help each other.
Classic East village vs corporate apartment
No property management agency - rent goes directly to the landlord ,there is a property manager but he is a private manager that just handles the comtravrs and payments, so no corporate agency, it's personal and you deal directly with him and myself.
No fee (no application fee, no broker's fee) - rent is just first month's rent and you pay one month's rent as security
TO APPLY: send a message with a little about yourself, what you do for work, and confirm your gross annual income (just amount - no personal information or proof needed at this point). I'm happy to answer any questions about the apartments as long as I haven't listed the answers in the ad (please do read entire ad). If you plan to apply/live with someone else each person much confirm their gross income, qualify and do an interview.
I will set up a video call with you to answer in detail any questions and ask you a few more to pre-qualify you then if you are still interested at that point you can set a time to see the unit in person or if you're not in NYC yet we can set up a live video tour.

EAST VILLAGE
The East Village is a buzzing hub of youthful energy and
activity, boasting bookstores, cafes, galleries, and hip bars.
Situated between 3rd avenue and the East River, with 14th street to
the north and Houston to the south, this neighborhood is both
stylish and laid back. Once the most vibrant art scene in NYC, it
remains a trendy neighborhood to the avant-garde while also
boasting a much more polished edge, complete with luxury condos,
franchised coffee shops, and plenty of lunch spots.
Like most of New York, the East Village started out as farmland.
Until the early 1960s, the East Village was just the northern tip
of the Lower East Side, largely occupied by German and Ukrainian
working class immigrants. However, the Beat movement made its roots
in the East Village in the 1950's and paved the way for the influx
of the counterculture scene of the 60s.
Since then, the art scene of the East Village exploded with
series like Andy Warhol's…
