DESCRIPTION

Enjoy exceptional indoor-outdoor living from this sun-drenched Upper East Side penthouse, featuring a spectacular private wraparound terrace, expansive city views, and three exposures to the South, West, and North.

This oversized two-bedroom, two-bathroom corner residence is filled with natural light throughout the day, with open views from every room. Step outside with your morning coffee, unwind with a book, entertain friends, or simply enjoy your own private outdoor retreat above the city.

Upon entering, you're greeted by two massive closets-the first of six throughout the apartment. The spacious South and West-facing living room is flooded with sunlight and offers a dedicated dining area, creating an inviting space for both everyday living and entertaining.

Just off the living area is a windowed galley kitchen featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher. One of two entrances to the wraparound terrace is conveniently located directly off the living room, creating a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

A separate bedroom wing offers two generously sized, king-size bedrooms. The primary suite features a windowed en-suite bathroom with marble finishes and direct access to the terrace.

The Hardenbrook House Condominium is ideally located on East 66th Street between First and Second Avenues. Built in 1960 and converted to condominium ownership in 1986, this 14-story, 158-unit building offers a full-time doorman, laundry room, garage, live-in superintendent, and a lovely courtyard. The condominium permits pied-à-terre ownership and subleasing.

The location puts you close to everything the Upper East Side has to offer while still providing a peaceful residential setting. Enjoy the restaurants, cafés, shopping, and conveniences of First and Second Avenues. A neighborhood park just two blocks away offers a playground with slides and swings, along with tables and seating-a wonderful nearby option for families.

Transportation is also convenient, with the N, W, R, Q, F, 4, 5 and 6 subway lines all within close proximity.

A rare combination of space, sunlight, open views, and exceptional private outdoor space in the heart of the Upper East Side. Unfortunately, no pets for tenants.

UPPER EAST SIDE

The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence. Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their 20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.

With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get. All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.

Boundaries of Upper East Side

The Upper East Side contains some smaller neighborhoods such as Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie…
