A legal live/work building in Red Hook, ten years in the making and now coming to market for the first time. Spaces like this are rare in Brooklyn, and a configuration this complete with indoor parking, a dedicated ground-floor workshop, and a private green roof. The first floor is a workshop built for someone who makes things and wants to live above their work. It is not a retail space, so no signage is permitted, but the room itself is set up for serious use. The indoor parking space sits behind an electric garage door(we are looking for a tenant that can really utilize this rare space- so no use for workshop, then this unit is not for you). The second floor is the main living level: two large bedrooms, an open living and dining area, and a full kitchen featuring all LG appliances, induction cooktop, Dishwasher, microwave hood, and fully custom cabinets and millwork throughout. A washer/dryer is also a possibility. The third floor holds an office-sized room with a half bath that opens onto a green roof with views of the harbor and downtown Manhattan. Skylights run through the upper floors. Red Hook is one of the most distinctive corners of Brooklyn waterfront and businesses shaped by the people who live and work in it. A rarity legal live work space this specific does not come up often.

two.
