Yijun Shen is a real estate salesperson who brings both personal insight and a global perspective to every client relationship. Originally from China, she came to the United States as a graduate student and fell in love with New York the moment she arrived. Since then, she has lived and worked across different parts of the city and developed a deep appreciation for the many ways people create a sense of home. Her real estate work is informed by her own experiences navigating New York housing, renovating property, and understanding the emotional and financial significance behind every move.

Before real estate, Yijun worked in international development with the United Nations, the World Bank, and nonprofit organizations, spending years working across West Africa and the Middle East. Those experiences shaped her belief in empathy, cultural understanding, and the importance of truly listening. They also gave her a deep appreciation for people from all walks of life-something she brings into every client interaction.

Outside of work, Yijun is an avid rock climber. She loves pickling seasonal produce, collecting handcrafted items from around the world, and sharing the simple joys of everyday life. Helping people is at the heart of everything she does-whether it's finding the right home, navigating a major life transition, or simply being a thoughtful guide through the process.
