Tina was a dream come true. She and Leslie worked really hard to find me and my roommate an apartment that fit our budget and needs. It wasn't easy - my roommate and I didn't have guarantors and our budget was low, but we were determined to live in Manhattan. Tina introduced us to a solution to our guarantor problem, found us a unit on the Upper East Side that was within our budget, and accompanied us to the soonest possible showing. She and Leslie helped us get our application in immediately, arranged an interview with the landlord, prepped us, and helped us get approved. They were very transparent about the whole process, including all the costs so that we were prepared and nothing came as a surprise. We are very excited to move in and are extremely grateful for Tina and Leslie for guiding us through the process.

My sister and I worked with Tina and Sam to find an apartment in either the upper west side or midtown. We weren't sure which area would work for us and they took the time to show us both. We were looking at the end of summer and there was not much available but Tina and Sam were very resourceful and persistent with helping us find something that worked for us. We ended up in midtown and are very happy with our new apartment and with the whole process with Bond!

Tina is amazing agent, she helped me to find an apartment that suits all of my needs (although I had really rigid requirements as to location, infrastructure, etc.). Tina is always very open to assist in any other questions that may arise if you are new in NYC. She guided my renting process from the beginning till the completion and did much more than you would even expect your rental agent to do (assisted in renting furniture, organizing internet and tv, etc.). Tina is highly recommended for everyone who prefers to work with top professionals only!

To state one important thing up front - we all can acknowledge that it's difficult looking for an apartment in NYC, and no one ENJOYS paying a broker's fee. That said, the process can be helped or hindered by the brokers you use, and in my case, I can honestly say my brokers at Bond (Keri Smith and Tina Borges-Druth) were fantastic. My interaction started with our initial meeting where they asked me the right questions about what I was looking for, what my expectations were, and what I was and was not willing to compromise on. They were great about following up with me with what they said they would do (i.e., "Tomorrow I'll have a list of places for us to view in Midtown West around 6 o'clock," and then the next day I'd get a text from Keri, "I have 4 places lined up tonight, the first one is at such and such location so please meet me there at 6") - no follow-up on my part was needed. This sounds simple, but not every real estate agent does this. After each apartment, instead of trying to push places on me with fake threats such as "this place is amazing, oh you'll never find a place that's such a great deal as this," Keri would ask me what I did and didn't like about the place, and use this information to focus her search for the next day. And, they didn't try to show me things that were outside my price range. Again, this seems so basic, but these are things that made a difference to me. Most importantly, Tina & Keri really acted as my advocates when it came time to sign the lease. They worked with the agents representing the landlord to negotiate a better move-in date, they made sure everything was in writing regarding some fix-ups the landlord would complete before I moved in, and they were very flexible regarding payments. And, it honestly was just enjoyable working with them as people. They were friendly, and made me feel like I could trust them, and then they delivered. I'd recommend using them to anyone who needed a broker.

It only took one appointment with one conversation about what I was looking for to find the perfect place for me. Tina was efficient, quick, and friendly in every step of the process.
