I recently decided to move in to Manhattan with 3 of my friends. We didn’t even know where to start and had no direction. I searched up some apartments on google, and we found a beautiful place that we wanted to explore. Monty’s phone number was on the page, we gave him a call, and Monty immediately reached out. He was kind, personable, but most importantly professional. He asked us what we value during this process and listened to any commentary we wanted to include pertaining to our search. Within a couple of days max, Monty came up with multiple options for us that fit our budget and location in the city. He took us on showings, gave a very comprehensive rundown on each listing, and made us feel comfortable during the process. He was there to answer all questions and made himself available when needed. I don’t foresee myself renting again any time soon since Monty found us our home indefinitely, but If someone asked me if I know anyone to help find apartments to rent, I would 100/100 times recommend Monty. As two recent college graduates, who grew up in the suburbs and who are now professionals working in Manhattan, it was a goal and dream to eventually start our lives in New York City. This dream soon became a reality as Monty helped both me and my roommate, Elyssa, from the very start of this process. Over the course of our apartment hunting journey, Elyssa and I used StreetEasy to finding units and buildings on the market that were of interest to us. During this process, we had to keep in mind budget, neighborhood preferences, and the ability to have the unit accommodate a flex wall as well. I stumbled upon a non-doorman/walkup building, quickly reached out to the broker to inquire about flexing the unit, and then received a video of an entirely different unit from Monty. This unit was one in Plaza East, the building we're living in, and Monty was so flexible and was able to meet us there that day for a showing. We soon fell in love with the building and found another unit that was available and better suited our criteria. Monty also took the time to show us the unit again a week later, on a Saturday during a busy Thanksgiving holiday, so we had the ability to get our parents stamp of approval. Monty was transparent with both of us, and was wonderfully communicative and understanding throughout the entire process. He not only was able to secure this unit for us but kept in mind our financial needs as well. I truly do not have more positive things to say about Monty and we're deeply appreciative he was able to make our dreams come true. We can't wait to spend the next two years in Plaza East and we could not have found this amazing unit without Monty!

Monty is a great real estate agent, especially during these times when the NYC real estate market is crazy, he has been the most helpful agent I've met. He was very responsive to my endless questions, and he was easily reachable via phone, email, WhatsApp, etc. He is very hard-working, responsible and involved. We could rent an apartment thanks to him even though we're abroad with a 7-hour time difference, and he managed to arrange a virtual-tour with us, and even show the apartment to our friend in the NYC area.
