Mitria was born in Montelupo, a medieval Italian village in Tuscany, and relocated to New York City at age nine. She is the founder and President of Nexus Plexus NY, a strategic luxury marketing and branding consultancy specializing in Advertising, Marketing Strategy, Media, and Event Management. She has directed and produced high-profile global events such as Fashion Group International's Night of Stars, Design 21 with Unesco, and Tribute 21 with Robert Rauschenberg.
