Mari Sakamoto came to New York in 1999 years ago, and the first thing she did was work with real estate agents to find an apartment. Originally from Japan, Mari attended university in Tokyo then attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA on a Rotary Foundation Scholarship. She previously worked as a magazine and newspaper photographer in Japan and New York honing her creative eye and sharp research skills that make her so effective as an agent.
Raised with the standards that a client always comes first, Mari will treat you with respect and make you her top priority. Her passion for work is complemented by her love of a wide array of interests that include baking and cooking, dressmaking and millinery, horseback riding, Japanese Martial Arts, Kyudo (archery) and ballroom dance.
