Sooo helpful, communicative, welcoming, and very respectful of what we wanted in our apartment. My roommate was in the city while I have been away and he communicated with both of us and wanted to make sure we were well prepared and ready for finding an apartment and helping us with all of the steps. Luis was my first experience using a broker, and I couldn't imagine a better overall experience or result. I went into the housing search already jaded. Many friends had warned me to expect the worst. I anticipated bait and switch tactics, false advertising, pushy sales behavior, and more or less to be run over, ripped off, and tricked into a bad and overpriced housing situation. With Luis, this was not the case at all. Luis immediately built trust by saying that he was in it for the long term; that he simply wanted to find a place within my budget that would make me feel settled and happy. He made it clear that he was not looking to get me to sign a lease as quickly as possible, but instead to find me a great new home. We efficiently visited 8 buildings over the course of two mornings, and he took feedback very well. He asked smart questions to get a better idea of what I was looking for, and put in extra time to quickly find the features I was looking for in an apartment. He worked smart and quick, he didn’t rush me to make a decision, and he promptly answered questions throughout the entire process. (This included Friday night, Saturday morning, and Sunday afternoon.) In two of the buildings we checked out, we ran into former clients of his, now tenants that he had placed. They all smiled, remembered Luis, and said hi. This fit the image he puts off, and testifies strongly to his commitment to work diligently to meet the client’s need. I would happily recommend Luis to my friends, and I would enthusiastically use him next time around. I move into my new place next week and couldn’t be more excited.
