Hello NYC, I went through four different realtors before I found Jordan, and I'm glad I did. She and Brooke Baker worked as a team to find me a suitable apartment (I had very specific requirements). Even though I was very satisfied with the first apartment they showed, they gave me several other options which were not listed on any of the sites I checked. Unlike the other realtors with which I dealt, Jordan and Brooke took the time to explain the various types of arrangements realtors can take on. Come to find out, the previous realtors were obligated to further landlords' interests over mine. Brooke and Jordan insisted and promised they would represent both my own as well (they can explain it far better than I). Also, I just wanted to comment on the advantages of using a Realtor in NYC, in my experience. Without a realtor, I found my selection of aparments much more limited. Since I had very specific requirements (within walking distance for a good price), I'm sure it would have been impossible to find a place without their assistance. If you need a realtor, do yourself a favor and look up Jordan; you'll not be disappointed! Happy Hunting, we should all receive a medal for negotiating the complex NYC housing market.
