My name is John Laird, I am a father , husband and Marine corps veteran who believes in honesty and old fashioned work ethic (while using cutting edge tools/tech) to give my clients the best outcomes possible.
 I've been in the real estate industry since 2000, in both California and New York. Both as a real estate agent and building inspector. I've seen all sides of the transactions and have gained a wealth of wisdom along the way.
I have a good eye for detail, as well as an expertise in building construction and design. My past experience as an inspector gives me an insight into certain aspects of a buildings function or form that can be marketed (from a sellers perspective) as well as being able to ascertain potential room for improvement/negotiation from the buyers side.
 I also have a college education that was focused on architecture and design.
 My experience (coupled with a steadfast dedication to my clients) sets me apart from the rest. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family,  sailing , travel, vintage motorcycles, fashion, cooking, weightlifting and mma.
  I love NYC for its energy, plethora of arts, culture, food, nightlife and more. I feel at home in the upper east side, as it's close to Central Park and museum row. The walkability is great, family friendly, and lots of hidden gems to discover all throughout the area. There really is something for everyone from any walk of life to appreciate everywhere throughout NYC!
