Looking for the perfect apartment for my roommate and I in the city was very stressful but you would never think that was the case if you were lucky enough to have Glenn as the broker. He is straight-forward and forthcoming, which I found to be very refreshing compared to other brokers I've encountered during my apartment hunting in New York City.

I had been searching for my new home for months using all of the major apartment hunting websites and apps. I probably worked with over 15 different brokers! And still I couldn't find the right apartment for me. Then I met Glenn Lawrence.
Glenn is hands down the best broker I have ever worked with. He asked all of the right questions to make sure he searched his database (which has all of the exact same listing as all of the websites I was searching) to find only the kinds of apartment options I would actually be interested in making my new home. He was thorough and straightforward, and went above and beyond to really differentiate himself from all of the other brokers out there.
Rather than dealing with 15 different brokers from the various apartments you find, I strongly reccomended you use only one: Glenn Lawrence.

Glenn was such a help in the nightmare of renting in NYC.... I am simply writing this because I want others to have the same experience that I did. I wasted so much time with a few other brokers before meeting Glenn, being brought to apartments that weren't the pictures I saw listed online or the prices were different. Glenn knew the area I wanted to be in very well, was very honest about all the listing he showed me and even when I was at work, would send pictures form his phone of apartments he was viewing for me when I didn't have time to be there myself - unbelievable this guy. Glenn has broad in-depth knowledge about rental buildings in Midtown West, the area that I focused my apartment search on. He is not some broker who will lure or force you into signing a lease that you will regret later on. He has lived in over ten buildings himself and gotton extensive connections in the rental industry. He is professional and charming. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to find an apartment in Midtown Manhattan.
My husband and I were very impressed with Glenn's transparency throughout our entire search. We had worked with many brokers in the past few weeks only to have been brought to something beyond our budget or just not what was advertised. I spoke with various real estate agents in an attempt to find a cooperative and knowledgeable person to assist me in finding an apartment. I was fortunate to work with Glenn Lawrence. He found a great apartment for me in a building that is owned and managed by some great people. As amateur apartment renters in NYC, my roommates and I enjoyed working with Glenn. He was easy to contact, and willing to go out of his way to meet up and show the apartment. It was not an easy process getting a lease, but Glenn was pretty organized and helped advocate for everything that we wanted. He also had a lot of helpful advice and wasn't very pushy about signing a lease. It was a stressful process, but he did his best to make all of us feel comfortable and confident in our choice. Glenn was amazing. Polite, kind, thorough. He showed me more than twenty apartments (I lost count) and was attentive to my needs, budget restrictions, and particular demands. (II am a picky person!) Unlike other brokers I have worked with in the past, he never seemed icy or put-out. I have had too many experiences in the past with brokers who seemed like they were doing me a favor in working with me. We did finally find an apt, and I am happy, thanks to Glenn. I would recommend him highly, without reservation.
Not enough great things can be said about our apt hunting experience with Glenn. My fiancé and I were looking for our first apt together, and not really sure what we both wanted. He took us out a few times and really listened to our reactions to each apartment- so we were very quickly faced with the problem of too many perfect apartments to pick from. Glenn has great relationships with everyone involved in the process as well- so we felt respected entering every building- not something true of every broker. If your looking for a broker- go with the one that patiently listens to your reactions to the apartments being shown, and adjusts what he shows to cater to exactly what you are looking for and your price point- this is Glenn.

I was fortunate enough to work with Glenn during my apartment search and cannot recommend him enough. Glenn was friendly and concerned about our needs and what we were actually looking for - he was also cognizant of our budget and didn't try convincing us to pay more like many other brokers I worked with previously.
