Normally I try really hard to find no fee listings, but Edwin has really shown the value of having a broker. Upon listening to our apartment requirements, he told us he had something close by and offered to drive us up the street to check it out immediately.After looking at places for several weeks and being discouraged we were shocked that this place truly had it all. He let us really take our time looking around the apartment, and answered all of our questions knowledgable. His demeanor was casual yet professional, and he made us feel like we were in good hands when we took the leap and but down a hefty deposit. He was even generous as to lower his broker’s fee to month’s rent which is shocking in today’s NYC renting world. Even after we signed our lease he continued his great service. He reached out and gave us a Time Warner contact to get us a good deal!This will be my 4th time moving in NYC and I can say that this experience was defiantly the best. It was seamless and stress free and we are so grateful we found Edwin who is solely responsible.

I reached out to Edwin via text and he responded within the hour. I had a crazy schedule and he took the time to back and forth with me to find a slot that would work to view my desired apartment. He was upfront about the number of people interested, but he never put the pressure on with any "this place won't last" language--he was always very nice and relaxed. I was 5 minutes late to the viewing and he was outside chatting with the owner, whom he had worked with for years, and they clearly have a good working relationship. He gave me space to see the apartment for myself, while providing plenty of great info. Always nice and easy, never tried to sell me something I didn't ask for...like "another apartment close by but for a little more money". Very classy. I wanted the apartment so he drove me back to the office and we took care of the prelims. Two days later we signed the paperwork and it was done. Quick and comfortable and Edwin was very classy and cool.

He took his time in driving us around to see the various apartments and I never felt rushed. He was a wealth of information and was easily available anytime I had a question. Edwin helped my boyfriend and i out of a bind. We had had a heck of a time finding an apartment with my boyfriends poor credit and had a couple of apartments slip through our fingers. The apartment Edwin showed us was by far the best that we had seen and we were able to reach a deal with the landlord concerning my boyfriends credit. We are beyond happy with our new place!

I have worked with Edwin twice in the past. He has been professional and really takes finding the RIGHT apartment for his clients seriously. The first time he helped me find an apartment, I was living on my own, and for the first time. I had no idea where I was going to look or what I could really afford. Edwin was great. When I originally contacted him to view an apartment, he responded right away, AND found 3 other apartments for us to look at. Most realtors are really scummy - it's an unfortunate fact. Edwin is the opposite. He worked hard to introduce me to the area and find a safe, affordable home that met my and my girlfriend's restrictions. Not only was he willing to go to bat for me with my current landlord, but he made sure we had a good landlord and a good neighborhood. I absolutely recommend! He lives in and loves the area, he'll take care of you

Edwin responded to all of our questions/inquiries quickly and clearly. He was also super patient and showed us a ton of units - some more than once. Most agents in NY will rush you along and pressure you to move as quickly as possible, but we really felt like Edwin was on our team. Can't wait to get into our new place.

Edwin was amazing. Probably the best, most attentive, honest, broker I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Unfortunately I couldn't rent the apartment I wanted but he did everything in his power to make it happen, and when it didn't work out he was so nice.

My girlfriend and I didn't end up renting an apartment from Edwin because we settled on a different neighborhood in Brooklyn but we were both so impressed by his professionalism and courtesy I felt the least I could do was write a positive review.Edwin was a big relief from other brokers I've dealt with in NYC. Edwin was amazing in our search for an apartment. He showed my roommate and myself numerous places over the course of two weeks until we found one that suited us and fit in our exact price range. We ended up in a 2 bedroom in Sunset Park right next to the park, it is lovely and we are enjoying new neighborhood.

Edwin listened to what I wanted and didn't show me the apartments that were not suitable saving me time. He came up trumps and I got a fantastic apartment within days of making contact with him. He knows a lot of people in the neighbourhood and he has good contacts to find you the right place.

It's really hard to find a good apartment without a broker. I quickly realized that I need one. I had been using other sites (as well as craigslist) but just discovered nakedapartments and quickly found Edwin. I'm very happy with both discoveries.The entire experience with him and his team was quick and professional. What had taken me weeks to find a place, was done in three days! Edwin didn't do the pressure tactics that other broker use; he let the apartment "speak" for itself and I was very happy with what I saw. After seeing his reviews, I called him up and scheduled to meet him 2 hours later. He showed me six apartments (far more than I expected, given how hard it was for me to find apartments within my price range). He seemed to really know the area I was looking in (Greenwood/Sunset). He answered all my questions, and was honest and not-at-all pushy. My fiance and I are so happy to have gone through him!

Edwin is literally the best broker, I have worked with since moving to NY from Chicago 2 years ago. If you want a broker that is knowledgable (drove me around the neighborhood, showed me hot spots) about the area and I know the area well but Edwin did too, even better than me. I saw some places with other brokers and I knew more than they did. He treats you with respect, isn't going to push you into a place that you aren't feeling. He is a broker that is looking out for YOU. Edwin helped my family and I find an apartment less than one week before our old lease ended and was there for us even after signing the lease. He's a soft spoken, kind, and curteous gentleman, which is very rare with many other brokers whom I've dealt with. He paid attention to what we needed in the apartment and respected the budget that we'd set up for ourselves. Judging from our little chats, he's also a family man which made him very sympathetic to my wanting a safe and comfortable place for my loved ones. I could not have asked for a better realtor. He definitely came through for us.

Run don't walk to work with Edwin Ega. Edwin and his team are hands down the absolute best people I've ever worked with in NY apartment hunting. Not only did we score an amazingly beautiful apartment but everyone was incredibly courteous and understanding of our scheduling problems (we had a very tight window with which we were trying to move). We were even those jerks that had put money down with them and then asked them to wait while we pursued another option and when our other option fell through Edwin and his team didn't hesitate to pick the search back up with us with their full weight and positive, friendly, human approach. They found us something that was ultimately perfect. I don't know why we ever thought to work with anyone else- If we ever have to go searching again (which I doubt we will since we are in our dream apartment) I've got Edwin on speed dial.

My boyfriend and I were moving in together and had a variety of neighborhoods that we could work with....ergo we talked to a lot of brokers. Edwin probably ranked in the top 10% of brokers that we worked with! He got back to us promptly and after initial contact, was constantly showing us just-available apartments. Best of all was Edwin's attitude and demeanor. Utterly knowledgeable and easygoing, Edwin was a breath of fresh air in the stressful NYC rental market. He gave his honest opinion of services available, landlords, and pros/cons of various apartments in the Sunset Park area. We hit it off with Edwin right away and would recommend him highly to anyone, especially if you're looking in Sunset Park!

Edwin responded very quickly to my request to see an apartment. it was a "right place right time" situation, so it all worked out very quickly. I also got the sense that Edwin knows his landlords well, which made me feel more at ease. I can't speak for the rest of Rapid Realty, but Edwin is definitely worth working with!

After a month-long nightmare of an apartment search, it was a pleasure working with Edwin. He's very popular in Brooklyn (for good reason) and is incredibly busy, but you wouldn't know it because his response time is lightning-fast and he never appears to be in a rush. He set me up with a great place, then went out of his way to offer additional assistance, even after I had signed the lease. Highest recommendation. (P.S. Top-notch team at his office, as well.)

Edwin is great! He showed us only one apartment, but it was the absolute perfect apartment for our needs. No wasted time showing us properties that didn't measure up. Edwin really knows the area. He listens to his client - and that's number one. He's also a very ethical and honest broker - hard to find in today's business environment. Work with this guy - you'll be glad you did.

From the first phone call Edwin was MORE than helpful. He answered all my questions, showed up promptly at the appointment time, and helped make my apartment search the EASIEST it has ever been (I've moved 6 times). I am reccomending Edwin to all my friends.

Edwin was great. He was one of the few brokers who actually responded quickly to an email about any of the apartments I reached out about. He was quick to answer any and all question we had about the apartment and made sure that since we emailed him first that we were the first to see the apartment. I had heard mixed things about Rapid but after using Edwin my mind has been changed.

Edwin responded very quickly to me inquiry and showed me an apartment I was asking about the same day. He was very knowledgable on the area and offered a lot of insight in to the neighborhood as well.

Though Edwin did not respond to my initial inquiry, upon seeing my negative review, he reached out to me and sent me an email apologizing and offering to help me with any needs. I have to say, that's worth something.

Edwin was quick to respond to phone calls and texts. As that is how he responded to me upon initial inquiry to a beautiful two bedroom apartment in Bay Ridge.Edwin knows the BK area very well and is mindful of hi client's needs. He does his best to find out the information that you ask of him, and will deliver.I highly recommend Edwin for being a great professional throughout the entire course from initial showings to signing. He is honest truly wants for his clients to be happy where they end up choosing to live.I've seen former clients come back into the office, to once again get his help. Give him some of your time and he will certainly get you the apartment you want.Best of luck on your apartment hunts!

After about 3 weeks of looking for a place that was big enough and accepted 2 dogs, we finally came across Edwin who showed us a great apartment that we ended up renting. Although it was a bit over our budget, it had tons of space and allowed us to keep our two dogs. Now we have a great place in a brown stone near the park and it is all thanks to Edwin!

After living in Brooklyn for ten years and undergoing a three week long discouraging apartment search, I found Edwin. He was extremely responsive and helpful and completely put me at ease throughout the process. He had great listings and showed me very nice apartments. He had great relationships with the landlords and went to great lengths to give me information about the new neighborhood I was moving in to. Professional, courteous and patient, he answered every single question that I had. It's easy to see why he gets such good reviews! Do yourself a favor and work with him.

Responded to initial inquiry by asking for my number and then had some communication issues. His other reviews are great though so maybe it was a chance thing.

Edwin is great!I didn't take the first place that he showed me, but he called me back the next day and said he found a studio 2 blocks away from my old one. Edwin knows what's going on, has a heart for people who getting started and might not meet requirements demanded by landlords. He seems to have great relationships with landlords he has been working with over the years. He knows the neighbourhoods he is dealing with very well!!
