Responded quickly after my initial inquiry, but did not get back to me about a meeting time or address for me to view an apartment. Like others have said, while I understand busy schedules, I had rearranged my own schedule with the promise of a viewing and never even received a message from Charles about having to cancel.

I had a very good experience with Charles. He was responsive, and most importantly, not pushy. I find that a lot of brokers try to pressure you but that was not the case with Charles. He was straightforward and patient.Would definitely recommend him.

Without a doubt, Ideal is the nicest brokerage company I have worked with in Brooklyn! Their broker Charles helped me find an apartment quickly, as I urgently needed to move in January 2017. The landlord made the decision within 24 hours of me submitting my paperwork, the lease was straightforward, and the landlord very sweet and accommodating. Charles went out of his way to find me the space I really liked, after taking me to see 9 different apartments over two days. Totally happy with my space, and happy to have found Charles.

Apartment hunting in New York City can make you seriously detest brokers. Two people from Ideal have restored my faith in this shady profession. Both Kayla and Charles Ega were friendly, knowledgeable, extremely professional, and always available for my many questions. Kayla especially was remarkably patient, working hard for me for a number of months as I was apartment hunting from afar. When I finally came to Brooklyn to look at a few apartments they have lined up for me, I ended up renting a no fee place that is just amazing. I’m still in disbelief! I can't thank, particularly Kayla, enough. Great team!

I can't say enough about the quality of Ideal's inventory of apartments and their customer service. The apartment I rented in Windsor Terrace through their agent Charles Ega is in excellent repair, and cheap compared to similar apartments in the area.

I so rarely write reviews online, but finding an apartment in Brooklyn is stressful. I felt constantly rushed by brokers. Finally I found Charles and he showed me some amazing apartments. Charles from Ideal is awesome: professional, prompt, reliable. If you are looking for a place in Brooklyn save yourself the hassle of going at it yourself and just go with Ideal Properties Group. If not Charles, a lot of their agents (we have worked with 5 during the last two years) are very capable.

We reached out to Charles when we saw all the good reviews others left him. Charles responded to our initial inquiry and we set up an appointment. However, he never gave us an address to meet him at and did not take the time to cancel the appointment or tell us he wasn't able to make it. I understand that everyone has busy schedules, but I thought it was inconsiderate of him to waste our time.

I was overall very satisfied with Charles Ega! He answered all my questions very quickly and secured us an apartment that we are very satisfied with.

Charles was perfect for my apartment search! He researched my easiest commute to work and had a list of 10+ apartments along the subway line I needed. He started with an apartment below my budget, didn't try to go any higher than I was comfortable with, and highlighted apartments where I would not have to pay the broker's fee. I found my apartment on the 3rd stop. If I even need an upgrade in space I will be going back to Charles.

Working with Charles was great! He works with you well and goes out of his way to accommodate you. Charles was super helpful in wrangling my new apartment. When I first saw the listing I reached out and he responded very quickly, giving me the ability to see the apt and jump on it. When I wanted to get the price lowered he talked to the owner for me and helped get me the rent I was looking for! Also, as brokers fees go his was far more reasonable than many of the other brokers I talked to. Can't recommend him enough!

Charles may be my favorite person on the planet. I found myself desperately in need of an apartment ASAP and reached out to Charles about a listing I found online. Before I was able to see it, the apartment was rented so Charles put together a list of 4 apartments to see that fell into a similar price and size range. I met him after work (I was 20 minutes late with a dead cell and he still waited… bonus points!) and we power-looked at every one. He never talked up a place or tried to "sell' me on it but rather let me take my time and form my own opinions. After our initial look at the apartments, I emailed at an ungodly hour to request to see my favorite again. He responded right away and I saw the place again the next morning. I ended up putting a deposit down. Charles advised me on all the documents I would need so my lease was pushed through in 2 days! Everything was seamless and smooth and Charles was friendly, funny, and helpful throughout. A totally enjoyable experience! I would recommend Charles to anyone looking for a place. He does his homework and wont waste your time. He's the BEST!

Before Charles Ega from Ideal Properties Group, apartment hunting in Brooklyn was about as miserable an experience as can be. I'm sure you'd all agree that trying to find a good place is difficult enough, so having countless brokers not even show up for appointments makes it even more challenging.From first contact Charles was concerned about getting to understand our needs as precisely as possible.
