Born in France, raised in Israel, Avi then lived in Canada before moving to New York City in 1989. Avi is a well-rounded individual who appreciates all cultures and lifestyles. He graduated from the Swedish Institute College of Medicine where he studied Eastern philosophy. He has been involved in dance theater as a manager, has studied Chinese medicine, and worked as a massage therapist. He is constantly striving to reach his full potential spiritually, socially and in his work. He is on a constant quest to improve his knowledge.  
Avi currently lives in the East Village and has family in Brooklyn. He has a deep-routed passion for charity and is always finding ways to give back to the community. He is on the board of his synagogue and volunteers with several theater groups. He enjoys writing movie scripts, yoga, biking, healthy cooking, and the arts.
