Originally from Maine, Alexena received a B.A. degree in Middle Eastern Literature and Art from the University of London, and an M.A. in Psychology from OSU. She started her career at an advertising agency handling strategy development and planning with clients that included Google and Boehringer Ingelheim. Alexena subsequently joined a startup company doing project management, advertising and media. Her outstanding performance in sales inspired her to enter real estate. She specializes in rentals and sales in all Manhattan neighborhoods. Alexena resides on the Upper East Side, plus has lived in other parts of NYC like Harlem, Park Slope and Astoria so is well-versed in different areas. When not busy working, she loves running and is training for a half Ironman to be held next summer. Among her other passions are experiencing new restaurants in the city with friends, cooking, and learning about the architectural development of NYC over the past century. Alexena also volunteers with local environmental and sustainability efforts such as City Parks Foundation and the New York Restoration Project.
