Apartment hunting in NYC during a pandemic.... hoo boy. That said, Alex was amazing. We met up for a specific apartment one evening, and he ended up showing us a few more in the area as well. While we liked some, we didn't love others, and Alex listened to our (pretty specific) wants and kept searching and found one my partner REALLY liked. Unfortunately, it was snatched up super quickly (before we even had the chance to apply!). But literally within a day, Alex had come back with another apartment that looked amazing, within our budget, and with our required number of closets (lol). By that time, we ended up finding a condo we liked with a different broker, and decided to sign that lease. But we would highly recommend working with Alex, as he obviously cared about us finding a great place and went the extra mile to help us on this search.
Alex was very helpful in my apartment search, as I lived out-of-state and was only in NYC one weekend. He secured several appointments for one afternoon with a couple of different buildings from which to choose. He listened to my requirements and wishes and was quick to respond to any email questions I had. Due to the actual apartment not being available to view, he found another similar apartment on a different floor. In addition, he also kindly found an available apartment which had the same kitchen cabinets and countertops as the one I was interested in but couldn't see.
