Ahmed Alomari came to Douglas Elliman with seasoned real estate experience as the owner of Rapid Realty's Chelsea franchise. With an entrepreneurial background that spans multiple countries and industries, Ahmed possesses a unique depth of experience and an unmistakable drive to help every client excel. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Ahmed was one of eight children in an immigrant family.
At age nine, he began making regular trips back to Yemen, his family's home country, which gave him the opportunity to learn Arabic and study challenging curricula in addition to his American schooling. These trips also instilled in him a lifelong love of travel and an interest in new cultures.
Growing up, Ahmed helped out at his father's business, getting accustomed to interacting with customers. As he got older, he also got involved with another family business: property management. His family owns over a dozen properties in Brooklyn, and Ahmed took part in collecting rent, interacting with tenants, scheduling and overseeing repairs and more. He attended Brooklyn College, earning a double major in Business, Management and Finance, and International Business, all the while continuing to take on more property management responsibilities. He additionally returned to Yemen to help build a business from the ground up - a wedding hall, which celebrated its grand opening with Ahmed's own wedding.
Upon returning to the States, Ahmed redirected his focus on property management and reconnected with his wealth of real estate connections. He got his real estate license, and started as an agent in Kensington, Brooklyn in 2011. Training with the best, Ahmed excelled in rentals and sales, and was later approached to run a franchise office. His extensive experience serving clients, heading operations, training agents and negotiating deals are invaluable to his Douglas Elliman clients. Ahmed's interest in the Green Energy Sector, mainly the electric car market and solar panel industry, fuel his passion for educating clients on the concept of going green. He has also been following and investing in the stock market since college; and for fun, he most enjoys gardening, fishing and travelling.
