Oh how this city has changed! Born and raised New Yorker and "fondly remember" when really anything could happen on any day, good and bad. Left the city for 13 years for a new life and travels to return in 2003 to a completely changed town, but still love the vibe and the old neighborhoods. Below 14th st is still my old stomping grounds, but also appreciate uptown(still have family there). All this history I have with my hometown suits me perfectly for working in real estate. Need luxury in Fidi, the "needle in a haystack" in the East Village, a huge share in Murray Hill or buying a co-op on the UWS? I know it and will get it for you!
