Finding and signing for an apartment in Manhattan can be extremely hard. Add in trying to find one when you are moving from out of state and it can feel near impossible. That was until I found Gikas and the Compass team. I scheduled an appointment to tour apartments and as soon as I walked in their office, they told me they had an apartment they thought would be the perfect fit and that it was the one I was gonna sign. That couldn't have been more true. We started off by touring that one first. It was everything I had previously mentioned I was looking for in a place. We then toured a 2nd and I told Gikas I didn't need to see anymore. The 1st place was the one. We went back to their office and Gikas helped me fill out all of the paperwork needed to apply for this place. He was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and answering any questions I had. I truly could not have asked for anything more or had any easier of an experience. When hearing all of the horror stories about trying to get an apartment in New York I was very intimidated. Once I found Gikas and the rest of the Compass team they completely eliminated all of the worries I had about finding a place. 100 out of 10 recommend using them !!
Gikas took me to see three apartments, two of which were (unbeknownst to him) on my list. So he pretty quickly figured out what I was looking for. Overall, working with Gikas was a good experience.

Gikas was a wonderful broker who showed us several apartments within our criteria and neighborhoods and as well as a couple that he thought we might like outside of those criteria, one of which we ended up renting! Personable and easy to work with.
Gikas made finding an apartment actually fun. He listened to what I was looking for, and didn’t try and upsell me on places that were out of my price range. He was super friendly, and helped me find a great place. So happy I worked with him!

A few months ago I was going through a horrible breakup and needed to find a new place to live asap. I was put in touch with Gikas and he immediately went to to work for me. He started to show me places later that afternoon, and within a week I was moving into my new East Village apt :) He was so patient and friendly, and made the whole process so easy and straightforward.
