BIOGRAPHY:

April is a true New Yorker - happy to say that she was born and raised in Brooklyn!  After attending Hunter College, April began her career as a Contracts Associate for world-renowned Random House, Inc. While working closely in the contracts/sub-rights department, she learned a lot about key contractual elements that are necessary to publish literature.  Years later, April's eclectic career went on to include the glamorous life of a Cosmetologist, where she worked in a high end salon and did editorial print work. Her success in this field included spreads in magazines such as Essence and Black Hair Sophisticate's. It also included a spot as hair stylist for runway models in New York City's famed Fashion Week. This career path and talent led her to the exciting world of hip hop where she created hair styles for music videos and artists' CD covers.  But somewhere in the back of her mind, April always had a love of homes and apartments.  The light bulb to real estate went off when a client asked her to help find a luxury rental and the rest is history...  Over the course of eight years, April has developed great relationships with owners, brokers and clients - key factors to building business.  She is excited about meeting new people and finds great joy in helping each one find a good place to call home.
