DESCRIPTION
BASIC/ROOM INFO: 1 Room available- $1,150. The rooms faces the east and gets light for most of the day. Queen sized rooms with space for a full dresser, night stand, desk and desk chair.
APARTMENT INFO: The apartment has roof access and close proximity to L and M trains (approx. 0.6 miles from a station on each route). There are lots of cool bars nearby for nightlife, as well as delicious restaurants! There is no in-unit laundry, but there are several laundromats close by.
My roommate is moving home to live with family due to high NYC cost of living and I am moving in with my Significant other so we are looking for 2 additional roommates to take over the lease. Likewise, my roommates (two male identifying people and an additional yet to be filled spot in the apartment) are in their early to mid 20s and work hybrid during most of the week.
SUBLEASE TERM + RENT: The room will be available to move in June 15, with a sublease from July 1st, 2024 to March 31, 2025; you are free to extend the lease after this term if desired.
Utilities are separate from rent and roughly $100/month (usually $50 for electric and $17.50 for internet), i.e. monthly expenses total of ~$1,200. Looking for first month's rent + security deposit to move in or $2,300 total ($1150 x2; deposit will be refunded as long as there are no damages).

beloved by artists and young professionals. With a hopping
nightlife and some great restaurants, it's no wonder why people
love this neighborhood.
Some of the roads traversed by hipsters and artists on their

Dutch, the land became food and tobacco farms, and then

The factories of Bushwick primarily produced sugar, oil, and

especially German ones, to the neighborhood. These immigrants
opened many breweries and Bushwick was soon named as the "beer
capital of the Northeast."
