A sun-filled floor-through townhouse duplex offering two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and an expansive recreation level in one of Brooklyn's most desirable neighborhoods. Situated in Prospect Heights at the edge of North Park Slope, Prospect Park is just a short walk away.

The home retains much of its original character, with tall bay windows, decorative moldings, wainscoting, hardwood floors, and soaring ceilings, while thoughtful updates-including central air, stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, and an in-unit washer and dryer-bring everyday comfort.

The parlor level opens into a spacious living room where oversized bay windows flood the space with natural light. Original architectural details give the room warmth and character rarely found in newer construction.

Just beyond is a separate dining area that flows naturally into a well-appointed kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, generous cabinet storage, ample counter space, and a dishwasher.

Both bedrooms overlook the private backyard, creating a peaceful separation from the entertaining spaces.

The king-sized primary bedroom enjoys tranquil garden views and features an unexpectedly generous double-height closet.

The second bedroom has built-in shelving and has been used by previous tenants as either a home office, nursery, guest room, or an oversized walk-in closet.

The main bathroom is clean, tiled, and includes a full bathtub.

Downstairs, the finished recreation level dramatically expands the living space. Whether you envision a media room, home gym, studio, guest suite, or workspace, it offers remarkable flexibility. This level also includes a second full bathroom with a standing shower, an in-unit washer and dryer, and direct access to your private bamboo-lined backyard.

And yes-the backyard is exclusively yours.

Housewarmings are always better while it's still warm out. 🙂

Location is where this home truly separates itself.

You're tucked onto a quiet, tree-lined townhouse block while remaining within minutes of some of Brooklyn's best transportation, restaurants, parks, and cultural institutions.

Fun Facts and History of Prospect Heights

Part of the original city of Brooklyn, Prospect Heights was an important part of the agricultural practices and trade routes of the Dutch colonists who controlled the land in the 1600's. The original grid for Prospect Heights was drawn in 1833 and constructed in 1834, based largely on how the land had been run by the farmers who settled there. However, Brooklyn decided, as streets were still being constructed, to lay a new grid all together in 1839.
