Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Monica grew up in Manhattan. She earned her BA in art history and anthropology at New York University. Upon graduation, she worked at Merrill Lynch as an analyst covering the telecom sector for over four years. She went on to work in Human Resources at Marsh & McLennan covering specialized risk and then in the asset management department at Morgan Stanley covering fixed income and global equity.

After buying a home in Rhinebeck, NY, Monica invested in real estate in Maryland and bought and sold several properties there. From these experiences, she realized she had a knack for real estate and decided to apply her personal and analytical skills to renting and selling homes. Because she knows firsthand how frightening and lengthy the sales process can be, it brings her great satisfaction to support others in the process of achieving a completed transaction.

Monica is a certified Professional of Human Resources (PHR). In her free time, she enjoys working out and playing golf. She also loves to go antiquing and is particularly fond of traveling.
