Her insight was further strengthened traveling widely across the five boroughs while working in city government doing voter education, outreach and registration. A graduate of Hunter College, Chyann holds a degree in Africana Studies and a French Language minor. Over the years, she has studied various languages including French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and a little Italian. Chyann also learned the Russian alphabet in first grade and never forgot it! Her favorite hobbies include cooking, traveling and dumpster diving for fabulous finds!
