Sara believes that cultivating and maintaining great relationships, always giving back, following through, and living by the Golden Rule have been key to her accomplishments. Having spent 15+ years on Wall Street at investment banks in an operational leadership capacity, she has excelled both in her performance, and at achieving the best results.
Working for top names like Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, Sara has proven herself to be a dedicated leader with a demonstrated record of success in business resilience, continuity planning and operational excellence. She brings solid board expertise in client interfacing projects, budgets, vendor management, and security risk management; plus has built and managed large, diverse teams with diplomacy and integrity, creating environments that foster cohesion and promote loyalty.
With her savviness and dedication to putting her customer's satisfaction first, Sara transitioned seamlessly to residential real estate. This native New Yorker, born and raised in the South Bronx, has lived in Harlem since 2011 and is very knowledgeable of different neighborhoods from Upper Manhattan to the Upper West Side, Midtown, down to the Financial District.
Sara graduated from SUNY at Albany with a B.A. in Africana Studies and minor in Business Management. She went on to earn a Diploma in Paralegal Studies from New York University, and a Master of Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In addition to being a Licensed NY Real Estate Salesperson, Sara is a Licensed Notary Public in NY.
Her passion is community service, which has included mentoring high school students for Moriah Institute's Rites of Passage program, volunteering for citywide service groups such as The Food Bank of New York, NY Cares, Bowery Mission Women's Center and others. Sara has raised substantial funds for worthy causes like Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans, cancer research, Avon's Walk for Breast Cancer, etc. She is a certified Lay Responder Instructor for the American Red Cross Safety Preparedness Division, and serves on the SUNY at Albany Student Affairs and Alumni Boards. Sara also enjoys running half marathons and learning about photography.
