She specializes in the vibrant Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, Clinton Hill and Fort Greene neighborhoods, but more importantly, in satisfying the needs of her clients. Having lived in Brooklyn for nearly a decade, first in Williamsburg and now in Bed-Stuy, Mona appreciates the unique nuances and offerings of each distinctive area. She thoroughly enjoys taking clients on one of life's most exciting journeys, searching for a home they love and are comfortable with emotionally and financially.
With her international background, Mona can relate to the overwhelming yet invigorating task of relocation. Originally from Pakistan, she moved with her family to Calgary, Canada at age six, and came to New York City in 2008. Mona holds a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as well as a Masters of Fine Arts at Parsons The New School for Design.
An academic and globally-recognized artist, Mona has been exhibiting her art for over 15 years. She travels regularly to India and Pakistan to research and create art projects; plus she taught art at several colleges including Parsons, and within the CUNY system. Mona came to real estate with strong interpersonal, listening and communicating skills, along with solid sales experience. She is hardworking, easy to talk to, and fully dedicated to delivering the best outcome for her clients.
On top of real estate and art, Mona is a yoga enthusiast who practices Ashtanga yoga daily. She is also an avid cyclist, and uses her bicycle as her main form of transportation 365 days of the year.
