Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NY, Melissa attended medical school in the DR then transferred to CCNY to complete a BS in Psychology and Premedical Studies. She
interned at Columbia University for medical school development, and worked for NYU Langone Health/Bellevue at the Emergency Room. Modeling in NYC is also among her
professional accomplishments.
Fluent in Spanish, Melissa enjoys travel and learning new cultures. She additionally likes to explore nature in all forms (rivers, oceans, hikes and camping) and loves being artistic in whichever form it comes. This includes designing and creating fashion clothes as her grandmother taught her.
