Laika Michelle Dacalos has been a devoted member of the Real Estate and Hospitality industry/business for 20 years. Her experience comes with a strong foundation in New York residential real estate, commercial real estate investment sales, and Restaurant/ Bar brokerage.
Her success can be attributed to her indestructible entrepreneurial spirit, ability to anticipate the needs of her clients, and desire to see everyone win. Her skills are drawn from her versatile background as a small business owner and operator, certified yoga instructor, performer, cook, and perhaps the most impactful, social worker.
Laika is an alumnus of NYU's Social Work program. She used her degree to serve her New York community after the 9/11 attacks at the WTC Family Assistance Center, helping families of the deceased and traumatized victims. It was there that Laika honed her active listening skills and her empathetic nature which she brings over into the world of real estate.
Laika is fluent in Filipino and English. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking professionally and practicing yoga.
