So far, I find Justin and his associates Eric / Andy to be excellent. Transparent (key word), polite, well dressed and flexible.. Overall his firm is professional and (as you will learn) put their clients first. I haven't rented from him (yet) but I believe we will find something very soon.
Wow! Justin is Very Fast! I like his attitude. He is better than the others.
Fast Reply! Called me asap. Met at office with assistant and viewed 5 apartments in 1 day.
Justin was the fastest broker in getting back to me. His colleague arranged a showing and we definitely had some hurdles, but it worked out well.
Justin is great! He replied asap and setup an appointment on the spot! He really knows what he's talking about!
So like the review below me we also got the intern to show us around. We we're trying to rent a room in the heights my roommate is Jewish so we have very specific needs. Long story short none of the apartments were what we were looking for. We were willing to go over budget a bit if it meant we could find a place that we love with the requirements but even then still not what we were looking for. The intern also had to buzz us in and kept trying to convince us to look out of the area we wanted. I'm pretty sure they both kept forgetting my roommate is Jewish. I was told by a colleague to go with a larger agency due to our requirements and so far we have had a way better experience. This may work for you if you don't have very specific apartment requirements.
1. I had to travel to Justin's midtown office when I was already in the UES (where I want to rent) rather than just meeting him there. But ok, they usually argue that this is done for security reasons.
Justin was great. I was working with someone prior to him, and had conversations with a handful of other agents, and they dragged their feet, sometimes straight-up lied to me, and good apartments were disappearing right and left. Justin was different.
First off, Iâll say I was extremely overwhelmed by the conquest of relocating permanently to a city Iâve visited one time. Compared to Chicago, New York has quite a few differences in formalities when it comes to renting an apartment... Not to mention NYC is significantly larger than Chicago â which presents that much more to digest (neighborhood vibes & offerings, safety, affordability, etc.). Justin was prepared with an answer to my every question (I had a LOT of them). Him & his associate squashed any and all insecurity with legitimately helpful pros/cons. The viewing/showing process was not gimmicky or pushy (which I cannot say about all brokers! â Many of which I witnessed during mass-showings). And the initially intimidating application process turned out to be a total breeze! Upon approval, a genuine âcongratsâ was SO appreciated & made me feel legitimately welcomed. And even after signatures had been written & checks had been delivered, Justin remained available for questions about keys, utilities, etc. â which is a RARE quality post-transaction. If I could do it all over again, Iâd hands-down select Justin to be my broker... and hey, if I ever choose to move to a new apartment I wonât hesitate to use him again either.
Justin responded to our initial message, but his partner Aaron was the one that took our apartment search personally and really tried to teach us about the process while looking for the best spaces for us.
Justin is great! He would respond my message quick and work positively with me to try to help find a great apartment in NYC!
Justin was polite, professional and fast. He offered me a great range of apartments for review.
