I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Eric. My apartment search entailed a relocation for personal reasons from Washington DC back to New York City. I was prepared for an intense process but was taken aback by a series of unfortunate experiences with various brokers that quickly put me in a place of despair. Soured by these experiences and determined to bypass brokers, I scoured every NYC rental site I knew and submitted several inquiries for apartments matching my search requirements. I was so fortunate to receive an immediate reply from Eric on a property of interest - literally within 20 minutes of my sent message. To say that Eric was a godsend is an understatement. In cliff note here are the key points that left a lasting impression on me:
- He did a needs assessment that started with "Tell me about yourself" followed by "How can I help you?" - unlike most brokers who start the conversation with their fees Eric was an active listener who very intuitively anticipated my needs based on personal and professional details that I shared.

- Within that same 30 minutes he met me at an address that was safe and easy to navigate to. More importantly he arrived before I did. As a single female professional searching on their own this was a deal breaker for me.

At every turn he gave me valuable insight into future developments, upcoming projects and local amenities that would influence my decision. His tour included historical facts, services and restaurant recommendations that showcased his close ties to the area.
- Eric's ability to cultivate and build relationships is reflected in his network. He knew someone at every venue we visited. His contacts played an instrumental role in my apartment negotiations and helped me land an amazing apartment within hours, that was within budget and met all of my preferences.
- Eric's process did not end when I signed the lease. He has remained in close contact with me for several weeks via email ensuring that I am settled.
