Born into a real estate family in Maine, Jay Elfman has 15+ years of experience in the business: five of which were in property management, five in residential real estate with his own brokerage company in upstate New York, and five years working for JLL as an asset manager for commercial property along the east coast.
Jay is a Licensed New York Associate Real Estate Broker, and an industry expert with extensive knowledge of the intricacies, steps and processes involved in a transaction. An open dialogue with clients, clear communication, lots of patience, and a strong pricing background combine to ensure buyers, sellers and renters achieve their real estate-related goals when working with this consummate professional.
His expertise in appraisal and brokerage allow him to hone in on the perfect valuation for residential or commercial property. Whether it is determining the right rental rate or sale price, rest assured, Jay will not let you leave money on the table. What's more, he has owned income property (40 units) in the past, and has a solid record of transactions under his belt; so clients can feel confident they are in the best of hands when searching for or selling a home – from Midtown to FiDi and elsewhere.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University, and an MBA from University of Maryland. He is a private instrument pilot, loves tennis, and cherishes time with his life partner Rita and teenage son Joshua.
