She responds quickly and compassionately, and really took time to talk to me about the building, the landlord, and the history of the apartment. She even suggested we meet at the place a second time so I could see it at different times of day with different weather. She really cares about helping people find a home and I am so grateful to have met her on my housing journey.

Throughout my search for an apartment I did not meet anyone as helpful and patient as Burdie. She would not pressure you into getting anything you did not like. As soon as I met her I was hoping I get an apartment through her just because of how amazing a person she was. If you are looking for someone to help you find an apartment without any pressure but also diligent in her search to get you what you want then go with her. You won’t regret it. Even weeks after i had gotten the apartment she kept in touch with the landlord and super to get every little thing working. If I ever have to move again she will definitely be my broker again and again

I highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment to work with Burdie! She is very responsive to emails, calls, and texts so you don’t have to worry about a long wait for someone to get back to you. She stays in your price range and takes into account your wish list for an apartment. She walked me through exactly what I needed to do to make my application watertight, which I needed being a first time renter in nyc!

I dealt with a lot of realtors when searching for my first apartment in New York, and Burdie was definitely the most helpful and personable I worked with. She took the time to listen and understand what I wanted in an apartment on a personal level. Rather than try and shoehorn me in a place that wasn't right, she worked to find places that fit my needs, and to help me get an edge on securing more competitive apartments. Many other realtors gave me the feeling of being of being dispensable, or of being brushed off - Burdie was a rare exception to that.

Burdie helped me rent my current apartment, and she was a downright Godsend. She did everything she could to work quickly and made sure I didn't get out-bid; she negotiated with the landlord to get him to agree to some nice repairs before I signed the lease; I later discovered that she personally took the time to clean up the space after the men who gave it a fresh coat of paint left a mess behind them; she gave me a very fair broker's fee.
