AJ was AMAZING! I reached out to him at the end of December 2018 I believe, and we decided to keep in touch later after I found out that I couldn't end my lease early. Giving him a call again in February was the best decision I made. He is a very trustworthy person, very genuine. He will show you properties that fit your criteria. He will also work incredibly hard to make sure you and the landlord can agree on a deal. As long as I stay in NYC, I will always consider giving AJ a call about any housing ideas I may have. I highly recommend AJ.
I was looking to make the move from living with roommates to getting a studio apartment, and had every intention to rent in Manhattan for proximity to work. On a whim one night, I submitted interest in a unit in Long Island City that looked too good to be true. AJ's wife (they are a team) responded within minutes even though it was late at night, and I set an appointment for that weekend with AJ since he was available. AJ was extremely helpful, professional, and not pushy at all. I have had bad experiences with NYC realtors in the past, and am always skeptical about working with brokers. However, AJ made this whole process so easy! I found a perfect unit in the very first building he took me to. He even helped negotiate 2 months free on my lease for an incredible luxury building. I will definitely be working with AJ again the next time I move, and recommend you do the same.

AJ was really great to work with. He was so helpful and super efficient. I had very limited time to find an apartment and he found me the perfect one in my price range (and i love my new apartment!) AJ was available to answer lots of questions even after putting down my deposit and after I had moved in.I would definitely recommend renters to work with AJ!

Normally I'm not a big review writer but I think Spire deserves one. My wife and I worked with Andrian (AJ) Tchernev to see apartments in Long Island City and he was great. We contacted him early one day and received a prompt response to setup an appointment. We may have spammed him with a thousand questions, each one was met with an attentive response showing no signs of frustration. He was a pleasure to deal with and extremely knowledgeable on the properties that we were being shown. My biggest issue, when dealing with realtors, is that they make you feel as if they are doing you a favor by showing you properties, but AJ made us feel as if he was there for us.
