Listen, folks, Andrew is great. I am moving from Chicago to New York and it took about one day of searching through listings and emailings brokers to determine that finding a good broker was a high priority for me. I didn't set out to find Andrew, but I'm glad I did. I first connected with Andrew through one of his listings and, from there, he asked if I would call him to tell me more about my apartment needs. He sent me several listings that could fit the bill and was very respectful of my budget. He even asked, "Over what price should I NOT send you listings?" There was no bait and switch. There was no pressure. I met Andrew in Brooklyn and we saw four units together. Andrew was chill, knowledgable, and a pleasure to hang with for a few hours. I really felt like he wanted to work with and for me and make the most of all of our time. All four units that I saw were in great shape and legitimate options for me. I decided on my top choice and we made a plan to submit an application. Because I was only in town for a couple days, Andrew was proactive in moving the process along quickly and was always in close communication and very organized. I applied, got approved, and signed a lease within 24 hours. I'd say it was a lovely, successful experience! I couldn't recommend Andrew more. Yes, broker fees are shitty. Yes, the system is skewed towards building owners. These things are just true. If you are looking for someone to work with you and be your advocate without being pushy, Andrew's your guy. Tip: Andrew bikes around the city so if you're local or if you rent a bike, you can zip through your showings together!
