Nicolai Pamukoff is a charismatic people-person with an extensive customer service background. His work experience is diverse, having worked in the financial services industry with firms like Fidelity Investments, Pershing and UBS, environmental market consulting (carbon trading & sustainability) and more recently in interior/furniture design with companies like Roche Bobois, Minotti and Design Within Reach. His unique background brings an array of creative and practical skills that set him at the forefront of those new to the real estate industry. His past clients have shown great loyalty by following him from the design world and intertwining with his real estate business.
Nicolai was born in Canada to European parents and has lived in the U.S. for almost 30 years. His academic history includes a B.A. in Economics from Western University (London, Canada) and a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University. To further refine his design expertise he completed continuing education courses at Parson's School of Design and Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). He is multilingual in English, French and Spanish and has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand and parts of South Pacific and South America. He combines experience gained from his multifaceted professional career with the knowledge formed through his schooling and travels to give his clients a well rounded New York City Real Estate Agent.
Nicolai's area of expertise is the West Side of Manhattan, including the areas of the island most familiar to him: Chelsea, West Village and Tribeca. He also assists Westchester 'empty-nesters' looking to downsize and relocate to the city along with young families looking to move up to Westchester. His established network of contacts with high-end home design retailers and prominent art consultants extends the benefits of his client relationships beyond just the buying and selling process.
In his free time, Nicolai loves having fun with his teenage son. He can also be found rollerblading in Central Park, which comes naturally as he grew up playing Hockey in Canada (Go Habs!). As a competitive tennis player, Nicolai plays USTA (United States Tennis Association) League Tennis. He also enjoys reading, art, cooking, swimming, hiking, skiing and the beach. Most of all, he enjoys meeting interesting people and learning new things!
