Jared Joseph was born and raised in Somerville, New Jersey and spent most of his early life in Lumberton, New Jersey. He attended Burlington Township and Rancocas Valley High Schools where he spent most of his time acting, singing, and performing. Jared took those passions with him after high school where he attended the University of The Arts in Philadelphia majoring in Music Composition and Mastering Music Education. While attending, he was able to perform and meet with artists such as Sting, Justin Timberlake, James Taylor, Pink, and many others -- which inspired him to focus on his solo performances and writing for the entertainment industry.
During his studies and outside of schooling, Jared has had the privilege of traveling to Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Ecuador, and Paris to name a few. He had the opportunity to conduct his chamber choir on the steps of the Opera House in Paris and sing on his 18th birthday in Notre Dame. All of these experiences contributed to his desire to grow as an entertainer.
Jared was surrounded by passionate and driven individuals growing up, which has lead to him exhibiting those same qualities throughout his life. His mother, born in America, was a vocalist and worked for the Board of Education in East Brunswick, NJ. His father came from Lagos, Nigeria and currently owns two successful businesses in Plainfield, NJ. Many of his aunts and uncles have created their own businesses and cousins have grown to become doctors and lawyers, which has enstilled in him the value of hard work and having a passion for what you do.
In 2015, Jared made the leap into New York City to challenge himself and follow his dreams. NYC seemed to be the place where "dreams came true" and that with enough hard work, anything is possible. He was also drawn by the opportunity to connect, perform and entertain with such diverse and multicultural groups of people.
Jared now works with the largest independently owned brokerage firm in New York City, delighting in the opportunity to meet so many interesting people and help them find the homes of their dreams. Outside of real estate, you can find Jared writing, performing, exploring and engaging with people and the city he has come to love. He believes that the "city that never sleeps" allows him to never stop dreaming - and he encourages others to do the same!
