George Giallias knows New York like a New Yorker. He has an intuitive knowledge about customers' needs-whether it is the college grad seeking a first apartment; or, the couple up-grading to their dream home; or, seniors who are down-sizing.
He knows and cares about people. His interpersonal skills were honed in the family businesses-first, a delicatessen; then, later, helping to manage the family's real estate portfolio-in both the United States and abroad. In consequence, George maintains an international cultural fluency, including the Greek and Spanish languages.
After graduating from Hofstra University with a degree in Finance and Accounting, George cultivated a successful Wall Street career. Along the way, he helped launch several start-ups.
The Astoria-resident's ideal vacation: soaking up the sun in Greece-his ancestral home- with his wife and son. In his spare time, George is restoring an antique racing car.
