This is a truly rare opportunity to secure a LIVE / WORK loft in a PRIME part of Carrol Gardens West, Brooklyn. Easy walking distance to the Smith 9th G & F trains.
So many of the lofts like this have been cut up into smaller units. This is a true loft with plenty of space and a blend of original loft features (exposed pipes and vast open plan layout) meeting with modern conveniences (renovated kitchen and bathroom, dishwasher, laundry in the building, central air) at a great price.
Take this empty canvas and make it your home and work space all in one. Large windows throughout pour in the sunlight.
You will love this amazing LOFT. It is all open plan now but can be built out as a 1 bedroom/office. Whether you are going to take advantage of the live/work option or just live here you will be the envy of all your friends. The loft gets showered in sun and natural light and has a light and airy feeling. The windows are massive and pour light into all rooms. If you are a creative person this is the perfect environment to let your imagination run wild. This loft is a 5 minute walk from the Smith & 9th F trains. I love the location of this loft because it makes you a part of both the Carroll Gardens & Red Hook neighborhoods.

RED HOOK
Red Hook is a fun filled, waterfront, residential neighborhood
right next to Carroll Gardens. While most people think of Red Hook
as "The neighborhood with the IKEA," there's so much more to see
here, including museums, restaurants, and even an art gallery or
two.
Named by the Dutch for the red clay that was found here when the
area was colonized in 1636. The area was used for shipping and
family estates until the American Revolution, when a large fort,
called Fort Defiance, was built just before the Battle of Long
Island.
The 1800's saw Red Hook transform into an industrial powerhouse.
The ports were revitalized between the 1840's and 60's due to the
deepening of the Gowanus canal and increased business from the
formation of the Erie Canal. One might think this was great for the
neighborhood. However, this success attracted organized crime by
the 1920's.
Red Hook continued to have a poor reputation throughout the
1900's, though industry…
