Warmth and service greet each tenant as they enter this fully staffed and elegant building Pre-War glamour pervades its French Oak wood paneled, crystal chandeliered, coffered lobby. Here, prestige of address intersects with convenience of location in a perfect cross section of East meets West, found one block south of Central Park. Nothing more exceptional can be found the world over than the seasons reflected in the nature that is Central Park. This oasis is your garden of fitness, exploration, exceptional dining at Tavern on the Green as well as The Loeb Boathouse or merely the wonders of people watching on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

The finest of shops, restaurants, and cultural institutions encircle your new home. It is adjacent to Central Park's multitude of activities, newly opened Nordstrom Flagship store, Columbus Circle and Time Warner Center's fine dining and shops. Down the block from the NY Athletic Club and merely one block to Carnegie Hall as well as Tiffany & Co. and the headquarters of Apple on Fifth Avenue. No building can match the concentration of New York at its finest. Access to 10 different subway stations/lines, instant transport to airports via the 59th Street bridge along with bus lines and the West Side Highway make The Meurice the most conveniently located building in all of New York City. As the map suggests, we are truly at the center of Manhattan and New York City itself. As many residents have said, we should all be so lucky as to live even a small part of our lives at this wonder of New York history.

Long an open secret for old and new Hollywood, this iconic building has been called home to some of our most cherished legends. Ask our staff about our storied history and perhaps a few intrigues. Faye Dunaway, Jennifer Lawrence, Kathleen Turner, Susan Sarandon, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Edward R. Murrow, and the great director Roberto Rossellini have all made their home here. With Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, and a host of other friends, The Meurice has always been central to the internationalist lifestyle. A place to call home.

THEATER DISTRICT

Right in the heart of the city, between 40th street and 54th, lies the brightest spot in NYC, Times Square and the Theater District. This neighborhood is the definition of busy, always packed with tourists and locals. Those who dream of living and working in this area should know that the grind here is no joke. That said, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

Fun Facts and History of Theater District

Before the bright lights and billboards were even a twinkle in the city's eye, This area was largely undeveloped farmland. However, after the revolution, the population of Manhattan exploded, and people needed a place to live. That's why, in 1836, mayor Cornelius Lawrence expanded the grid, already being built on the island, all the way up to 42nd street. Lawrence promised those who moved up town fresh clean air and luxury living.

While people moved uptown rather quickly, theaters took a bit more time. Not many businesses wanted to open in the area since it wasn't easily…
