Williamsburg is a highly coveted neighborhood in Brooklyn mostly due to it's proximity to Manhattan and it's undeniably hip restaurants and trendy nightlife. The main strip of Bedford Avenue has enough excellent restaurants, unique shops, live music, bowling alleys, enviable parks, bookstores, record stores, and enough stuff going on to make any 'Manhattanite' envious. It's easy to see why Williamsburg is demanding higher rent than some of it's counter neighborhoods right across the East River.
