DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Dietz Lantern Building: an icon in Tribeca for over a century. Originally built in 1877 as a lantern manufacturing warehouse, 429 Greenwich was converted into a 28-unit condominium in 1996. The result is a home that manages to find perfect balance of its historic setting, offset by the contemporary finishes and full-service lifestyle. Amenities include a 24-hour doorman, concierge services, an interior courtyard, and private underground parking garage for residents. Two spaces of the garage are reserved for guests of the residents, a rarity that your friends and family will enjoy. Enter 5A, With its 11' ceilings and 10 oversized windows - all of which face the quiet, interior courtyard - 5A is the epitome of loft living. The sprawling layout is flexible and can easily accommodate multiple configurations. Currently laid out as 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an enormous kitchen that remains open to the living room. Master bathroom includes double-vanity sink and soaking tub. Central air conditioning, vented washer & dryer, re-finished hardwood floors, and recessed lighting throughout are all among the remaining features. For someone who wants to experience living in Tribeca's most desirable location - the northwest corner, near the waterfront - 5A at 429 Greenwich Street is exactly what you have been waiting for.
