DESCRIPTION
Just a few steps from the Peter Detmold Park, a wooded waterfront area perfect for relaxation. Surrounded by diverse restaurants, take your pick between Japanese, Mediterranean, Indian, Turkish, and many more. With a car, you're minutes away from home off the FDR Drive. As for subways, Grand Central Station, Lexington Ave-53rd Station, and 51st Station is only a 10 minute walk.
The crown molding and backyard makes it feel more like a house than an apartment. It's a great sight to be able to see all the way through your home the second you walk in. With two large wall-sized closets on both sides of the entrance, storage does not have to be an issue. The kitchen nook provides 8+ cabinets, 4 of which are ceiling high, full sized dishwasher, gas range oven, and refrigerator. The open living space and view of backyard will allow you to design your home the way you want without the studio feeling small. The backyard is suitable for a garden or simple lounge chairs for weekend hangouts. The bathroom comes fully equipped with a toilet, sink, tub with bypass shower doors and a new medicine cabinet with beveled mirror. For your convenience, there is a live-in superintendent with laundry and gym in the basement of the building.

Stretching from 40th street to 59th and hugged by the East River
and Fifth Avenue, Midtown East is a bustling business district by

architecture, Midtown East is an elegant mixture of old and new,
celebrating the luxury of the city while preserving its
history.
Midtown East, like the rest of Manhattan, was historically
farmland during the early days. Affluent families were drawn to the
region because of its peaceful surroundings and convenient access
to the East River, which made the area ideal for agriculture.
During the 1800's and early 1900's, Midtown East became a
hotspot for industry, welcoming factories, breweries, and
slaughterhouses. With industry came workers, mostly Irish and
German immigrants who contributed to the area with projects such as
the construction of Saint Patrick's Cathedral in 1879.
