8/3/2016 I am not one to write reviews, but I had to write one for John Dugan as he was the best broker to work with. I moved across the country by myself not knowing a thing about apartments in New York and if it wasn't for John I would not have the place I am in now. He helped me find my apartment just in one day, he was so helpful, insightful, and the nicest broker you will ever meet. He clearly cares about his clients and wants to make sure they have the best and smoothest experience, because searching for an apartment is never easy, but John made it as easy as it gets. Fun Facts and History of Kips Bay

Kips Bay receives its name from the Kips family farm off the bay of the East River. The area in the 1600's and 1700's, was mostly farmland. As the decades went by, more and more of the land was bought off to make room for city developments. For example in 1794, Bellevue Farm was purchased in order to construct a medical facility, and in subsequent years, parcels of Kips Bay Farm were purchased to expand the facilities.
