-6- month sublease with no broker fee for $1,825 per month plus utilities. Only additional fee is security deposit which would be returned at the end.
-Bedroom has a huge closet, a lock on the door for added security, built-in AC, heat and great natural light, laundry in the basement and trash shoot in the hallway of the floor.
-Room would come unfurnished so if you have furniture you want to bring in that is totally fine. I may leave my desk behind in the room should that entice you.
-Roommate is a young female professional who is very quiet and respectful.
-building is a doorman building with super responsive staff and super who fixes everything in Kips Bay, 5 min walk to 6 train, 7 minute walk to Trader Joes, 10 minute walk to Madison Square Park, close to tons of gyms and super connected to lower Manhattan.
-Possibility of renewing the lease which would be at the discretion of the rental management team.

Snuggled next to the East River between 23rd and 34 street, Kips
Bay is very popular with families due to the great schools,
hospital access, and general safety of the area. However, there has
also been an increase in young professionals seeking to rent in the
neighborhood as businesses continue to expand in Murray Hill and
North Manhattan.
Kips Bay receives its name from the Kips family farm off the bay
of the East River. The area in the 1600's and 1700's, was mostly
farmland. As the decades went by, more and more of the land was
bought off to make room for city developments. For example in 1794,
Bellevue Farm was purchased in order to construct a medical
facility, and in subsequent years, parcels of Kips Bay Farm were
purchased to expand the facilities.
