DESCRIPTION
Hi - I'm looking for either one roommate to sublet one room OR 2 roommates to sublet 2 rooms in a three bedroom apartment from June 1 - June 30. The apartment is awesome - all modern amenities including dishwasher, plus washer/dryer in unit, central AC/heat, and an outdoor patio area.

Each room is $1200. Both rooms are on the bottom floor (the apartment is a duplex), and have room for a queen bed plus dresser/bookcase or desk. There's a half-bathroom on the bottom floor, with a full bathroom on the top. One room has a sliding glass door with direct access to our backyard area and the other one has large windows, so each gets decent sunlight. These rooms will come unfurnished and the rest of the apartment will come partly furnished. The last roommmate who lives in the apartment is a very nice 28 year-old woman who mostly keeps to herself and is rarely in the apartment. She also has a cat, so he will be in the apartment as well.

In terms of who I'm looking for - any gender, somewhat clean (doesn't have to be OCD, but know how to pick up after yourself) and be able to share common areas respectfully. Other than that, we're not too picky.

If you're interested in the room, send me a note with a little description of yourself - fun facts, pictures, and haikus are encouraged. Any questions, let me know!

Fun Facts and History of Prospect Heights

Part of the original city of Brooklyn, Prospect Heights was an important part of the agricultural practices and trade routes of the Dutch colonists who controlled the land in the 1600's. After the American Revolution, Brooklyn's population began to grow rapidly, and the land of Prospect Heights was sold to the city in order to build housing.

The original grid for Prospect Heights was drawn in 1833 and constructed in 1834, based largely on how the land had been run by the farmers who settled there. However, Brooklyn decided, as streets were still being constructed, to lay a new grid all together in 1839. A deal was struck to keep the streets already constructed which is why some of the streets in Prospect Heights…

RENTHOP DESCRIPTION
The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $1,200. The manager allows pet cats but does not seem to allow dogs. As always, you should ask as early in the process as possible if you have any questions regarding the pet policy. The kitchen conveniently includes a dishwasher.
