Very chill place to live with friendly and trusting roommates! Room views are directly across from Pratt Institute Library!!

Less than 5 min walk to the G train, less than 10 min walk to Fort Greene Park, about 15 min walk to City Point Shopping center, and about 15 min walk to Atlantic station (2, 3, 4, 5, q, n, b, r, d, and LIRR).

The room will be unfurnished but as you can see, fits a queen sized bed with plenty of room leftover. Two huge closets. Two tall windows.

New appliances includes: Large refrigerator, large microwave, large dishwasher, 5-burner gas stovetop with large oven, shared toaster-oven

Room is for rent as a sublet from June 15 to August 15 (when my lease is up). Once my lease is up, you can approach apartment management about re-signing for the next year!

Fun Facts and History of Clinton Hill

Clinton Hill was founded by Dutch settlers in the 1640's. The Dutch used the area as tobacco fields, even after the Revolutionary War. The area wasn't developed as a residential neighborhood until the 1830's, when it quickly became a popular neighborhood.

After the Civil War, row houses were built in the neighborhood and became the majority of homes in the area. The Pratt institute was developed in 1887, making the area very popular with young professionals.

By the 1900's, the area became so popular that several mansions, leftover from the previous century, were demolished to make way for apartment complexes. The Pratt Institute helped the area avoid issues other Brooklyn neighborhoods were facing during the financial crises…
