I'm looking to sublet a lovely furnished bedroom in my 3 bedroom condominium w/ private roof deck. Just five minutes away from Prospect Park in beautiful Park Slope Brooklyn! Super neighborhood! Safe and friendly! (subway: F train/Prospect Park station)
About the sublet:
This is a fantastic sunny FURNISHED room! Ideal for flat mate who prefers a quiet, private living space. The room is furnished with a full size bed, dresser, wardrobe, bookshelves, and desk! The room is lovely! Perfect for a grad student or a young business professional! Great space to chill with a friend and it's cozy and quiet for alone time.
About the condo:
The condo is a duplex with two levels. Located on the top floor of a 3 story walk up. The first floor is the kitchen, living room, full bath (w/washer and dryer) and 2 bedrooms on opposite sides of the condo. The top floor is the 3rd bedroom/art studio and our very own fantastic roof deck!
About your flat mate: (female)
A friendly international artist. I'm a professional artist and I work from home.. (upstairs studio) but I also travel quite a lot for exhibitions and lecturing. I've had fantastic young professionals and students live here over the years and it's worked out really great!
About you:
Friendly and pays rent on time. Clean and respectful of condo and flat mates' space. Employed full time with day time hours. (Or full time student with day time schedule). Proof of employment/school and references are a must. Must be willing to sign a sublet agreement. Female only. No smoking. No drugs. No drama. Sorry, no couples. And no pets.
Rent is $1275 a month. Utilities (gas + electric) and wireless internet INCLUDED in rent. First month and security deposit required to move in. Available April 1st.

On the west side of Prospect Park, wedged between Prospect
Heights and Gowanus, lies Park Slope, the chill neighborhood
beloved by young professionals and artists. This quiet neighborhood
is full of fun bars, restaurants, and unique stores, all of which
make living here a lot of fun.
Park Slope started out its life as many New York neighborhoods
did: as farmland. However, this farmland would soon see trouble, as
it was where the majority of The Battle of Long Island was fought
during the American Revolution. After the war, Park Slope would
remain farmland until roughly 1839, when the Brooklyn grid system
was drawn up. Farmers sold their land to the new city of Brooklyn
and row houses were soon built.
Park Slope was slow to develop since the area was hard to get to
in the 1800's. The neighborhood itself didn't see much construction
until the 1840's and 50's. However, Prospect Park was soon in
