This posting is or a private room and a private bathroom in a 2BR2BA Luxury apartment, and you'll be sharing the apartment with 1 other person (me). If the title was confusing and you thought that you were looking at a great price for a 2BR, I apologize, but I can't change the title on this site.

You'll have your own private room, your own bathroom, and free use of all common rooms. I tend to stay in my room most of the time. The rent is inclusive of Internet/Water/Cable. Only extras you will need to pay are half the electricity bill and whatever the building procedures involve.

The Metro North is opposite the building, (La Rochelle Luxury Apartments) a 30-second walk to a 20 minute train ride to Grand Central. Everything you need, groceries, barbers, library, it's all in walking distance. Great places to dine at nearby as well. The neighborhood is sparkling.

The unit has a washer/dryer attached, and the house is fully furnished. The balcony is nice and the view is absolutely breathtaking. I'm a writer, so I often sit out there to write. (If it isn't freezing.) The room for rent comes with a closet and a bedframe. The kitchen is furnished with an oven/microwave/dishwasher/fridge. A 55inch Smart TV (with netflix/amazon prime) in the living room and a balcony with a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.

The building is fully equipped, a 24hr concierge, elevators with fob-security, pool, gym, free yoga/zumba classes every fortnight, an attached garage, bbq pits, resident lounge, you name it.

I'm a Graduate Student at Sarah Lawrence, studying Creative writing. I'm liberal as all hell, so I don't discriminate based on anything really, As a roommate, I will mostly keep to myself, the common rooms are largely untouched by my presence. I don't party but  I don't mind if you do as long as it doesn't bother the neighbors.

The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $1,750. This is a luxury doorman / elevator building. The building also boasts a fitness center to help residents stay in great shape. Both cats and dogs are allowed, but as always, double check with the manager about any specific pet concerns you may have. This is a No Fee apartment, meaning the manager or agent should not ask you for a broker fee (there may still be deposits and other move-in fees paid to the landlord).
